Kate McCormick

Kate McCormick exhibited her work on the Washington mall from October 4 to 20, 2012 at Alliance Française de Toronto; she also took part in a conference (on November 9) on destinies made manifest, reading the Washington mall.
This exhibition questions on the reality of images. The photographer displays real photos of war memorials which truly exist in Washington DC, but also images wholly created by the artist on Photoshop. The illusion is flawless, and some visitors may not notice the fake images. This is once again the opportunity to focus on how true an image is.
